We leave Barcaldine and head for McKinley where there is a Camps 6 stop. Meet up with Mike and Sue at the McKinley pub and talk for a while. They take off and we proceed to the rest stop to find it is a kids playground with toilets next to the pollice station with no facilities for camping.
We continue on to Cloncurry where we check into a caravan park.
