Listened to the pool pump all night. Asked the question as to whether it could be turned off overnight. Told it was a statutorybrequirement to run it 24 hours a day. Apparently the office staff should have warned us.
Went to the info centre in the morning to book Purnulu NP to find out the 48 hour ahead pre-booking has gone and it is now on a first come first served basis at the site.
Did some shopping at camping shops & Coles. Checked out the butcher who will cryvac on demand. The girls checked out the Argyle diamond shops!
Went out to the Zebra Rock Gallery and checked out their art plus had toasted corned beef sandwiches for lunch.
Getting near 38C, had a swim back at the caravan park and then drove out to Lake Argyle to have a look.
Back at the camp for another swim and to check out the resident crocodile.
Disaster has struck, the other boys went to the pub to get some more wine. No casks a sold in the Kimberley, we have to carry fragile bottles over the rough roads. Not good!
Rodney the caravan park resident 'freshie'.
