As ever another day of breakfast and packing up. After which We set off from Cloncurry to Mt Isa passing a few 53 metre long ore haulers on the way.
Ourselves and the other two couples we are travelling with had all met and worked in Mt Isa. We each went our own way and visited houses, work places etc. After shopping we had lunch in the Mt Isa Buffalo Club where we ran into Ann and Don from the Sunshine Coast.
After lunch we moved on and drove through Cammoweal into the Northern Territory and then onto the Soudan Dip Bore rest stop. What a mistake, flies, flies and more flies. Head nets on we completed setup.
We then retired into the comfort of the Modcon camper for sundowners while waiting for darkness and the flies to disipate.
Grilled chicken for dinner on the weber. Planning for an early packup in the morning before flies carry us all away.
