Get some clothes washed then walk to the Mataranka Falls before the heat of the day. On the way out we see a nice place for a dip on the way back. The falls themselves are not exciting there is a 60cm drop across the river, not even any real white water.
We finished up doing 9 km return, pretty hot as on the way back. The dip was good but ducking the mozzies around the creek was a problem.
After lunch I got the fishing gear organised, had a rest while waiting for the heat to abate a little. Went fishing with no luck, mozzies in places ignored the Rid making it uncomfortable. Packed the fishing gear away for the following days drive.
Bacon and eggs does for dinner.
