Sat 13th, Mataranka to Sullivan Camp in Gregory National Park

We left early on Saturday morning to get to Katherine to look for a soft foldable solar panel or a replacement charging controller. Spent hours driving around the small township of Kathereine. Finally picked up a charging controller from Johnnos. Fitting it the wires from the panel to the controller broke before I could unscrew it.

We drove on to the Sullivan Campground in the Gregory NP 19 km south of Victoria River Road House. Mike and Sue went on to the VRH ir Timer Creek. Chris and Helen would have liked to have gone on to Timber Creek but I wanted daylight to fit and test the new controller.

Fitted the and successfully tested the controller at the NP. Geoff and Helen had a dip in the creek, no crocs seen. the campground was empty apart from another campervan.

Cane toads sang in the night. Flies were bad in the morning.
