Mother's Day dawns and we are still at Bullara Station, a peaceful night without strong winds. Definitely a win over where we were. Chris' hand is still painful and swollen, she is not allowed to do most things as we don't want the hand to become infected.
At Ballara horses and african short haired sheep are frequent visitors to our campsite. Ever seen a sheep with its head in your rubbish bin?
The morning is spent doing a few jobs, wandering around the station homestead and then driving off just before 11am to have a look at Coral Bay. We finally get mobile connection in Coral Bay, strong wind again for the next two nights, on the forecast the winds have dropped to a reasonable level by mid Tuesday. Looks like two more nights at Bullara.
In Coral Bay we do some shopping for items missed at the supermarket and then find a fish and chips shop for lunch at the caravan park. Jeff and Arloo brave the water for a dip. Coral Bay has a holiday destination feel with two caravan parks and and a protected bay with coral outcrops.
Return back to the station stay and try to have tea and Sue's birthday cake. Mike and Sue have decided to stay in Exmouth for more nights, so we eat Sue's birthday cake without Sue. A very nice IGA carrot cake. Only one problem, a horse tries to join in the tea and cake celebration.
Jeff and Helen have a problem with their solar charging of the camper, it has got little to no recharge during the day.
