Packed up and said goodbye to Jim and Flo our really good camp hosts at Millstream and headed off to Karratha, us to fix a tyre and Jeff to check out battery problems.
Passed a 4km iron ore train on the way, the highlight of the drive. Karratha is quite large, lots of retail, lots of variety. A good spot to pick up what you are missing or effect any repairs. Very much a growing town.
Jeff got a new battery for his camper trailer and I got a charging relay replaced, hope it helps!
Stayed overnight at the Dampier transit caravan park on the waterfront, small, friendly and clean. Book ahead in peak season. Met a wine maker from Capel in south west WA whom we shared sundowners with.
